Design Process

• Research: The design process begins with a complementary interview that will uncover your goals, budget and expectations. Our goal is to discover the basics about your tastes, lifestyle and the ideas you have for your home.
• Letter of Agreement: After the preliminary meeting and with the client’s consent, Liz Ryan Design will generate a letter of agreement outlining procedures, financial obligations and the scope of the project.
• Schematic Design: The client’s needs and personality, combined with the architecture of the space, will provide us with insight to help create a new overall look and feel. Floor plan options, colors palettes, furniture and material selections are presented to the client. Proposals will be presented in order to compare options and track how selections relate to the client’s overall budget.
• Design Development: With the client’s input and decisions, the design is finalized and product is ordered. Detailed drawings are provided to the sub-contractors and furniture fabricators, as needed.
• Implementation: Once everything has arrived at our warehouse, Liz Ryan Design will coordinate delivery and installation.
