| A colorful and inviting outdoor area for entertaining that could focus around the homeowners family and friends was achieved through using a vivid palette combined with the strong textures of teak, wicker, and iron. The furniture plan was designed to accomodate different gatherings and outdoor heaters were used to assure the client of year-round comfort. This design won Liz first place in the ASID Design Excellence Awards Arizona South Chapter 2001, Single Space Category. |
